“Belle Epoque” – Lieutenant

Over Spring Break, the new band Lieutenant dropped their gorgeous dream of a debut LP If I Kill This Thing We’re All Gonna Eat For A Week. You may have never heard of the group, but you may have heard of their front man, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter. Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel is leaving behind the fist-pumping, high distortion arena rock of the Foos for effervescent melodies and lyrics that float alone and captivate listeners like a dream. They’re playing the Black Cat this Thursday, you don’t want to miss this. Check out their debut single “Belle Epoque” and check them out at Black Cat.
