When was the last time you heard something that sounded this much like Madvillainy not for being generic DOOM tribute but for being this electric and odd?  NYC rapper Jalal Salaam has come a long way since his first flirts with greatness on Mathematics and DooF continues to be the king of the lisp rap.  It’s all held together by the Madlib-channeling beat by Awlnight, that sputters at such a frantic rate that it accomplishes much more than any beat should in just 1:30.
