Country music often gets a bad rap, which I think is unfair. In my opinion country music is best listened to in the summer, while driving on the highway with the windows down and the volume up. Yes, a lot of it does sound the same, and there are a fair share of songs with questionable lyrics or themes. But there are a lot of gems in there too. Here are some of my favorite songs to listen to if you’re ever feeling in the mood for a little hoe down, a drive through the country, or if you just want to enjoy the sun with a cold beverage.
