Playlist: Hillary at Georgetown

Former Secretary Clinton spoke at Gaston Hall on Friday, March 31st, to present the 2017 Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards for Advancing Women in Peace and Security for the achievement of the Colombian Peace Agreement. Clinton emphasized that women must be “agents of change, makers of peace, and drivers of progress,” because “global progress depends on the progress of women.” She presented awards to Humberto De la Calle, Maria Paulina Riveros, Elena Ambrosi, and Jineth Bedoya, and called on the students of Georgetown to make dreams of peace and equality for all into realities.

Stream this playlist for inspiration from bold, powerful female artists in rock and pop, and remember: in the immortal words of Hillary Clinton, “advancing the rights and full participation of women and girls is the great unfinished business of the 21st century.” Keep fighting the good fight, Hillary.
