Playlist: Sweet As

My latest (and final) trip while abroad brought me to the magically beautiful land of New Zealand. Best known for its pristine and breathtaking landscapes, the gorgeous country had me constantly surrounded by 360 degrees of majestic views. Our first day began with a 4 hour drive up the coast of the South Island to Fox Glacier, with many stops along the way to achieve the perfect insta. We were on an adrenaline-seeking adventure, filled with jet boat tours, paragliding, luging through the mountains, and taking relaxing dips in hot pools overlooking the mountains. I honestly have no idea what I did to deserve this experience. That being said, the pure bliss I experienced is articulated best through some of my favorite indie pop. This playlist exudes happiness and adventure for me, with some of my favorites from BØRNS, Misterwives, and The Naked and Famous, to name of few. “Sweet as” is a New Zealand expression for describing something that’s more than just good, and that is the essence I tried to capture in this playlist.
