Preview: Grouplove @ Echostage

L.A., indie pop band Grouplove has been making waves in its respective genre since the release of its debut album Never Trust a Happy Song in 2011. Fast forward five years, and Grouplove has gained acclaim from the likes of Entertainment Weekly, The Los Angeles Times, NYLON, and Rolling Stone just to name a few.

If the name Grouplove sounds familiar, it should. The band has produced hit after hit with its infectious indie pop songs- “Colours,” “Tongue Tie,” “Shark Attack,” and “Ways to Go” just to name a few.

Grouplove is currently on tour supporting its latest album, Big Mess, released in September of this year. The album name and music was inspired by the chaotic lives the band members have been living since the release of their last album. Through power outages, houses falling apart, construction, water issues, and the birth of vocalist/guitarist Christian Zucconi and vocalist/keyboardist Hannah Hooper’s baby, the band drew inspiration and recorded Big Mess.

Grouplove is headlining EchoStage this Wednesday, November 9th with Muna and Dilly Dally as supporting acts. Known for its infectious high energy sets, strobes and flashing lights, endless energy from band members, and catchy pop songs, this is a show is you will not want to miss! There are still tickets available so get them while you can here!
