DJs: Danny Goldberg and Umar Khan
The show centers on two country/rap/indie/whatever aficionados who intend on obtaining doctorates from Ball So Hard University. Both are painfully confusing, sarcastic and lack empathy at the worst possible times. One of the hosts, Danny, is a conservative Texan who has an unhealthy obsession with towels. The other host, Umar, is a California hipster. Their favorite hobbies include going “full beast mode” and watching the Food Network (and sometimes going full beast mode while watching the Food Network).
The show will involve the finer points of daily life, and will often revolve around Danny and Umar’s incomprehensible thought processes, and their problems with the expectations of conventional society, as well as their annoyance with other people’s behavior.
They like playing music that has no connection to heavy metal, screamo, or Justin Bieber. Danny, the Texan, prefers listening to Country and Billboard top 50 while Umar, the tree-hugger, prefers Folk, Indie, and Rock.
