The Crate

(back to the schedule)

DJ: Catherine DeGennaro

If you’ve ever picked through a crate of records, you know that you can never really know what to expect. Maybe there’s a lost gem from old, weird America sandwiched between some 60s Brazilian psych and sunny British Invasion pop. Or maybe there’s a classic hit somewhere underneath those kitschy French 45s and dusty soul singles; you can never be sure. Tuning in to The Crate is a little like rummaging through those crates—except I’ll do all the work for you while you get to make yourself dinner or pretend to write papers while perusing Facebook.
