Preview: Paperhaus @ DC9

Trying to find a way to keep the excitement of the long weekend going ? Look no further than Paperhaus’ show tonight at DC9. Paperhaus, who also frequently host house shows at their DIY venue of the same name, have cemented their reputation as one of DC’s best bands playing today thanks to their dreamy vibes and punchy rhythms. Tuesday’s show is the only local show announced for the next couple of months, as the band is about to hit the road for several shows at the CMJ Festival in New York followed by a stint through the Midwest. On top of this, it marks the first performance with new member Rick Irby and will also feature sets by Santah (Chicago) and Stronger Sex (DC). If you haven’t seen Paperhaus live (or even if you have) don’t miss your chance to enjoy their grooves this evening.
