I’m sure you all woke up this morning ready to brush up on a few dance moves courtesy of Thayer and Sunshine, but due to technical difficulties, have been disappointed once again. We’re very sorry. Luckily, Thayer and Sunshine will be on Copley Lawn tomorrow from 2:30 to 6pm showing off their moves live at WGTB’s Block Party. Join them for free moves, free music, free burgers and free water raining down from the sky. While you wait in anticipation, check out our lineup and master the moves from earlier in the week — they’re so fresh, they’ll never get old.

Let’s admit it. We’re a pretty talented bunch. But with schedules packed with classes, extracurriculars and internships, when do we really get an opportunity to show off? You’ve got your chance this Saturday at 7:30 in Bulldog Alley at our Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a seasoned vet of the open mic circuit or the secret Whitney Houston of your shower stall, it’s your time to shine. Maybe music isn’t your thing? That’s fine, too. Perhaps you’re penning the next great American novel on Leo’s napkins. Or perchance you deliver comedic monologues to anyone who will listen in Red Square. Whatever it is you do, bring your A game to Bulldog Alley. And of course, bring all your friends to clap their hands and eat our pizza. Did we mention it’s free?

Acts are limited to 5 minutes or two songs. Email GM@georgetownradio.com to sign up and guarantee yourself a spot on stage. Walk-ons are also welcome, depending on how many acts sign up beforehand.

This Saturday, come to Bulldog Alley at 8PM for WGTB’s infamous iPod Battle Royale! Georgetown’s very best DJs compete in a knock-out style tournament by crafting playlists of only their best tunes. So after Twin Door Cinema Club rocks the 9:30 Club this Thursday night, head over to the All Things Go after party for DJ sets from Twin Door Cinema Club, Yes Giantess and WGTB’s very own Afternoon Youth Party.
