Song of the Day: Howlin’ At The Moon- Hank Williams
This month’s full moon, which is referred to as the beaver moon, occurs tonight (Nov. 27th/28th). According to the Farmer’s Almanac, this full moon is named such due to the historic need to set beaver traps before winter set in. These traps would ensure a steady supply of furs throughout the winter season. Tonight’s full moon will also be the smallest one of the year and will be accompanied by a small penumbra eclipse. And if the world goes to hell on December 21st, this will be the last full moon we’ll ever see. So to my fellow music lovers whose spirit animal is also the wolf, enjoy tonight’s full moon and check out today’s Song of the Day (1951) from Country legend, Hank Williams.
