“A Thousand Miles” (Vanessa Carlton Refix) – MNEK
Never in a thousand years (Get it?) did I think I would be posting anything related to Vanessa Carlton, but MNEK’s cover/remix is amazing and I couldn’t pass it up. His ability to sing both the song as well as add the background na na na na na na that you’ve come to love about the original, is flawless and just flows. Adding in a B-52’s sample from Love Shack really puts the cherry on top and takes this to a whole new level of awesome. Enjoy this on your Sunday to get back some energy for the week ahead and go check out the rest of MNEK’s great music.
