St. Vincent and Yves Tumor coming to The Anthem (9/13)

Alternative rock standard-bearers and boundary-breakers St. Vincent and Yves Tumor will play a highly anticipated show in Washington, D.C. at The Anthem on the night of Friday, September 13.

Yves Tumor is an artist which labels fail to describe. Their music has gone through multiple tumultuous changes, ranging from experimental electronica to alternative pop and rock. 2016’s When Man Fails You leaned ambient and unorthodox, 2023’s Hot Between Worlds included everything from alternative rock to hip-hop, to satisfying 3-minute pop songs. While Yves Tumor just finished a tour across Europe, they will embark on the upcoming tour in support of St. Vincent for the first time.

Describing her latest album, Annie Clark, known by her stage name St. Vincent says, “it’s my least funny record.” While she has been known for her masterful songwriting and sublime guitar tones, St. Vincent takes on a new tone in her songwriting on the 2024 record All Born Screaming. While the official tour for the album has ended, St. Vincent’s 2024 tour will likely center heavy-hitting songs from All Born Screaming such as “Broken Man” and “Sweetest Fruit.”

Tickets for the show on Friday, 9/13 are still available for purchase!
