Rolling: Peter Fanone (COL ’15)

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the blog in the past month, you’ve already heard a bit about rising sophomore Peter Fanone. He stopped by the WGTB studio in early May to talk a little bit about his newest single, “Friends For Now.” But he also took a break from studying on a sunny Saturday afternoon during finals to serenade us and the rest of the front lawn with two original songs. “Friends For Now” – Peter Fanone (COL ’15)

Back in April, Georgetown Student Peter Fanone (COL ’15) released his new single, “Friends For Now.” Peter has been writing songs since middle school and began recording while attending high school at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, MD. Last semester, he released an EP called Dreams, Fate and Everything In Between, but for his next release he’s looking forward to exploring the folkier sound he developed on “Friends For Now,” inspired by his love of bands like The Avett Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel.
