Want Brat Summer to never end? Join Charli XCX and Troye Sivan with special guest Shygirl on September 26 at CFG Bank Arena for their Baltimore stop of “Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Present: Sweat.” The North American tour began in mid-September in Detroit and will make its way across the US and Canada until its completion in Seattle on October 23.
Charli XCX began her career in 2008 by posting songs on Myspace, eventually leading to her discovery and mainstream popularity. In June 2024, she released her sixth album Brat, which quickly went viral and rose to the top of the charts. It sparked the cultural phenomenon “Brat summer,” evoking the sassy pop star lifestyle. On the other hand, Troye Sivan gained his popularity through his YouTube channel. In October 2023, he released Something to Give Each Other, with multiple hit singles. Sivan and Charli XCX previously collaborated on the song “1999” in 2019 and have been regarded as two quintessential modern artists for the queer community.
“Sweat” is the true essence of a “co-tour.” Sivan and Charli XCX switch on and off stage throughout the show, joining each other for the occasional collaboration.
