Deliciously dark grunge band Sir Chloe will play two shows at The Atlantis, April 10th and 11th. Conceptualized as a senior-year college thesis by front woman Dana Foote, Sir Chloe garnered Internet it-girl approval through their hit single “Michelle,” released in 2020. In 2023, Sir Chloe made their major-label debut with the album I Am The Dog, divulging a self-assured portrait of female intelligence, strangeness, and hunger. The band consists of Dana Foote as lead singer and guitarist, Teddy O’ Mara also on guitar, bassist Emma Welch, Austin Holmes on synth, and drummer Palmer Foote, each contributing to Sir Chloe’s lush, writhing sound. Peeling away the coy adolescent love that guided their EP Party Favors, Sir Chloe is as confrontational and cool as they’ve ever been.
