Playlist: Fall Acoustic

After fifty-degree rainy days during Joaquin, a few sunny days where people could totally get away with wearing shorts, and a frost advisory tonight; I’m torn between whether it’s late summer or late November.  However, despite the fluctuating temperatures, the prevalence of sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spice-flavored everything signify that it’s finally fall.  So, here’s an acoustic(ish) playlist that is the perfect companion to those crisp but not too cold beautiful autumn days.  Bands such as British crooners Stornoway and Mumford & Sons are a must, and you can never go wrong with the slowly building crescendos and wonderful harmonies from the Head and the Heart.  The Shins would probably be perfect for any season, so why not throw them in here as well?  Anyway, enjoy this playlist as you eat that amazing pumpkin bread from the farmer’s market in Red Square and admire the lovely sight of Georgetown in the fall.
