“Please Do Not Go”- Violent Femmes

2

“Please Do Not Go” is one of the many lesser known gems of Violent Femmes’ first album, Violent Femmes, released in 1983. The song starts off with a slow tempo-ed catchy bass solo- the signature sound for this album- before lead singer Gordon Gano breaks out his ever-so-whiny voice for this simplistic love song. I’ll bet you anything you can’t get that beautifully harmonized chorus out of your head after you listen to this one. Enjoy!
