Preview: Amber Mark & Glass Animals @ 9:30 Club

A talented newcomer to the electro-pop world, Amber Mark is joining Glass Animals on what’s sure to be an incredible fall tour. I discovered Mark a little over a year ago, with the release of her single “Monsoon,” and instantly fell in love with her powerful voice, looping beats, and globally-influenced rhythms. In an interview last year, she described the two things that most deeply influence her work: her childhood, spent in India, and the passing of her mother, who she called “the most important person in her life.” “Monsoon,” below, perfectly captures the essence of Amber Mark’s music, and why she’s one of 2017’s artists to watch.

Mark will be opening for Glass Animals tonight and tomorrow night at the 9:30 Club. Both shows are unfortunately sold out, but if you’re one of the lucky ones with a ticket, you’re in for a phenomenal night. If you’re not able to make it to a show, you can still stream her first EP, 3:33am, below.
