Preview: Balkan Beat Box @ 9:30 Club

Israeli group Balkan Beat Box will grace the stage of the 9:30 Club this Thursday, April 27, at 7 pm. Balkan Beat Box is an eclectic blend of Balkan, Middle Eastern, and Israeli music traditions with elements of punk, reggae, and electronica.

A truly bombastic trio, Balkan Beat Box’s Tamir Muskat, Ori Kaplan, and Tomer Yosef have created a  unique and rebellious musical experience. In an almost violent burst of sound, the band takes the visitor around the world through language, rhythm, and style. It’s certainly not a concert to miss for those in love with world music or exploration. Get your tickets here, and check out their most recent album below.
