D.C. country fans get excited! Kelsea Ballerini is bringing her first ever headlining tour to D.C. and will be performing at the 9:30 Club on Thursday November 10th with supporting act/boyfriend Morgan Evans.
Since the release of her first single in 2014, Kelesea Ballerini has made waves on the country music scene. Ballerini has been dubbed as “Country’s Next Queen” by Billboard, was the first solo female artist in 15 years to hit #1 with her first two singles, is one of only 11 women to have hit the top of the charts with a debut, has been endorsed by her idol Taylor Swift, and best of all she is only 23 years old!
Ballerina’s first album, The First Time, was released in 2015 and has produced hit after hit – such as “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” “Peter Pan,” and “Yeah Boy.”
With influences ranging from Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, to Rascal Flats and Keith Urban, to *NSYNC and Britney Spears, Ballerini has created her own sassy, quirky, and uniquely Millennial take on country music.
During her live shows, Ballerini is known for her rhinestone microphone, her constant smile, and her throwback mash ups and covers of pop and country songs.
