Preview: Tinzo & Jojo Lorenzo @ 9:30 Club, 2/7

Step into an analog-digital dreamscape where three unlikely components — literature, a pre-internet brain, and house music — collide at the 9:30 Club. Brooklyn based DJs Tinzo and Jojo Lorenzo run Book Club Radio, which masquerades as a bookstore in the day, and after dawn operates as a nightclub. Their Dial Up Tour 2025 offers a four-hour sonic exploration across American cities, where classic house grooves meet early internet culture aesthetics. This isn’t like your typical Boiler Room set, but a more intimate gathering where every attendee becomes part of the set. This is more like a cultural archive coming alive through sound, pushing the boundaries between digital nostalgia and contemporary club culture.

Tinzo and Jojo Lorenzo envision an esoteric wardrobe for this event: think cyber-librarian, or 90s raver meets HTML aesthetic. Dress like you’re stepping out of a GeoCities page or cataloging forbidden knowledge after hours.

Time to dial up, tune in, and check out.

Buy tickets here. Doors to the 9:30 Club open at 10 pm. Show on February 7.
