With any luck, by this time next week you’ll be recovering from a night spent at DC’s Comet Ping Pong. Featuring A+ local poster artists, award-winning pizza, affordable(!) tickets, and of course – ping pong – Comet is a must-visit music venue. Especially when they play host to the likes of Surfer Blood.
Surfer Blood brings back fond memories of 2009 – pioneering that surf rock sound we’ve all come to know and love – with their debut single “Swim.” Subsequently, they’ve released four albums – the most recent of which, 1000 Palms, is required listening for Monday’s show (and life more generally).
