“Ship to Wreck” – Florence + The Machine
In anticipation of the How Big How Blue How Beautiful June 2 release, Florence + the Machine has dropped the new single “Ship to Wreck.”
In a press release, Florence Welch described the song: “I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you’re in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most.”
The video, which was filmed in Welch’s home, will premiere next week. In addition to the upcoming premiere, Florence + the Machine will take the stage at Coachella this weekend. The band will also be at Merriweather Post Pavilion, in Columbia, MD, on June 9. Tickets are available here.
