Rising indie-pop artist Dayglow (Sloan Struble) will perform at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., this Friday, October 4th, following the recent release of his self-titled album Dayglow. This concert will mark the tenth stop on his extensive North American tour, set to end in late November.
The show will open with the surf rock band Sun Room. Hailing from California, they are best known for their retro-inspired sound, blending ’60s surf and garage rock elements. Their music captures the essence of driving through the California coast on a summer day.
“Can I Call You Tonight?” is one of Dayglow’s most popular songs, encapsulating his music’s feel-good and dreamy energy. The track was released in 2018 as part of his debut album Fuzzybrain. The song climbed the charts and surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify, catapulting Dayglow into widespread recognition.
Since the release of Fuzzybrain, Dayglow has released three albums. His most recent album feels more mature, bringing influences from 80s pop to contemporary indie. It has more emotional depth and is more experimental than his previous works.
