Preview: Magic City Hippies @ Black Cat

Previously known as the Robby Hunter Band, indie funk band Magic City Hippies are coming to D.C. on Saturday for a fun night. Having evolved from a one-man band to a three-piece ensemble, the Miami-based group released a widely acclaimed LP in 2013 titled Magic City Hippies. In 2015 they released the Hippie Castle EP, which includes Spotify hit “Fanfare.”

In 2016 they released two singles, “Hush” and “Heart Wants.” If you like what you hear, come to the Black Cat at 8pm on Saturday to see the band! You can get tickets here. Plus, check out Magic City Hippies, which is the album that they released when still called The Robby Hunter Band.
