Preview: The National @ The Anthem

3

About a month ago, the Ohio-based indie band The National came out with their newest album, Sleep Well Beast. The band have come a long way since releasing their first album way back in 2001. Sleep Well Beast has been received very positively (not just by me). Known for their thoughtful lyrics and melancholy, philosophical songs, The National are bound to put on a great show when they come to The Anthem on December 5th. It’ll be exciting to see what the band and the new venue have to offer. Unfortunately, tickets are sold out. You can always check to see if a friend is selling one, but otherwise be sure to look out for The National when they’re around next time.
