Grammy-award winning artist Stephen Lee Bruner, more commonly known by the stage name Thundercat, is playing at DC’s The Anthem on Thursday, October 19th as a part of his In Yo Girl’s City Tour. Thundercat most recently released his first new song in over three years with the single, “No More Lies” featuring Tame Impala. His performance will include the new single along with live renditions of songs from his critically-acclaimed albums It Is What It Is and Drunk. After the recent viral success of songs like “Them Changes” and “Funny Thing,” the R&B/electronic fusion master is sure to attract a lot of new faces to his solo tour as he continues to be one of the most remarkable artists and bassists of the current era.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 8:00 show. Tickets are still available.
