TV Girl and BrotherTiger will be playing at Comet Ping Pong in DC on Monday, October 23, 2017. Doors open at 9 pm and tickets are $12 and all ages are welcome. Comet is a more intimate venue with excellent pizza (and if you’re 21+ an excellent beer list).
TV Girl is an LA-based indie pop band. Their music is very chill and easy to nod your head along to or get into a nice groove. If you’re looking for some tunes by them, I recommend: “Lovers Rock,” “Cigarettes out the Window,” and “Taking What’s Not Yours.”
The opener is Brothertiger, a NYC based band. His music is described as “chillwave.” Like TV Girl, his music is good for getting into a nice groove. He uses a keyboard which adds to the overall chill and electronic vibe. Check out “Turquoise (Skyline),” “The Young Ones” (this one has some of that excellent keyboard jamming), and “Lost.”
