The iconic American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas are visiting the District this Wednesday, August 7th, at The Anthem. Following the recent release of their single, “Tonight” featuring El Alfa and Becky G, the Black Eyed Peas have been on a world tour throughout the summer.
The Black Eyed Peas fuse hip-hop, pop, and dance, creating an energetic and eclectic sound. They have garnered numerous awards, including six Grammy Awards, and have sold over 80 million records worldwide. Hits like “Where Is the Love?” and “I Gotta Feeling” have solidified their status as pop culture icons. Their 2020 album, “TRANSLATION,” showcased collaborations with various Latin artists, further expanding their musical influence. Their latest album “ELEVATION” (2022) continued this theme by fusing Latin, Reggaeton, and rap influences.
