Many supporting listeners feel that he is definitely capable of singing and writing his way to success. Chris first started singing at the age of five in a church choir. The singer has gained a great deal of experience through singing and songwriting locally in Detroit. He now feels ready to give the world a taste of his amazing talent. I was first exposed to this recording watching the landmark documentary The Civil War by Ken Burns. His treatment of the issue of slavery during the ante-bellum South and the Civil War featured this song as one of the themes.

Song of the Day: “Bluebird” – Ikimono-gakari

Today’s song of the day is Japanese rock band Ikimono-gakari’s “Bluebird,” the band’s tenth single. I first heard this song as the third opening to the Naruto: Shippuden anime series, and it blew me away. It not only has become one of the most memorable anime themes I have heard, but also has become a regularly played song on my iPod.
