“Ego” – Milky Chance

German folk group Milky Chance stormed onto the indie pop scene with their 2013 crossover hit “Stolen Dance,” and the album that followed. Now they’re back, with their first single from their soon-to-be-released album Blossom, out March 17th.

Consisting of Clemens Rehbein on lead vocals, Antonio Greger on guitars, and Philipp Dausch as producer and DJ, Milky Chance is an intoxicating mix of bubbly synth pop, down-tempo acoustic, and unique, raw vocals. “Ego” fits nicely inside the niche they created for themselves with 2013’s Sadnecessary, and Blossom is sure to please in the same vein.

Although they’re primarily playing festivals on the North American leg of their tour this summer – including the amazing Free Press Summer Fest in Houston – you might be lucky enough to catch them at one of their sold-out shows this spring to promote their new album. You can also pre-order Blossom here.
