Hi friends!!! We are nearing the end of radio season (as well as the end of the school year but obviously the end of radio season is more important) and I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel pretty reflective about this past year and all the great memories we’ve had.
Then again, as the great philosopher, Semisonic, once said, “closing time; every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” With those profound words in mind, this week’s show will be a time for celebration and memory. The mixplate is going to be classic rock (with the exception of a few songs that have memories tied to them).
And hey! What’s a party without something a little sweet? I’m not big on baking, but I’m not opposed to sugar in the least. If you’ve never made Muddy Buddies before (also known in some regions of the US as Puppy Chow), then this is the time to try.
Here’s what you need:
9 cups of rice Chex or corn Chex
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Get Turn-T, DJSauce
