“It Don’t Mean A Thing” – Club Des Belugas Feat. Brenda Boykin

In honor of the Duke Ellington Orchestra’s residency at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club this weekend, here is a modern interpretation of the Duke. Club Des Belugass electro-swing version of Ellington’s iconic “It Don’t Mean a Thing” shows the potency of swing in the modern era and proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it really “Don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.”
