Preview: Bad Suns @ 9:30 Club

LA-based alt-rock band Bad Suns takes the stage at the 9:30 Club this Sunday, October 29th in support of their sophomore album, Disappear Here, released last September. Unofficially founded by lead singer Christo Bowman and bassist Gavin Bennett in a 7th grade classroom, the now-quartet entered the LA music scene in their teenage years and were signed to Vagrant Records in 2013. Their first album, Language & Perspective, was released in 2014 and contains hit songs “Cardiac Arrest” and “Salt,” among nine other upbeat, guitar-heavy tracks. The Huffington Post heralded the album as one of 2014’s best, referring to it as “a rare indie release with little excess amongst its singles.”

Since then, Bad Suns has toured as an opening act for bigger names such as The 1975 and New Politics, embarking on their first solo tour shortly thereafter. For a band who keeps a low profile and released their first album with little to no fanfare, they’ve quickly garnered a loyal following, particularly from their performances on the festival circuit.

You can still purchase tickets to Bad Suns’ Sunday night show featuring HUNNY here. Doors open at 7 p.m., and be sure to check out Disappear Here below:
