The Lemon Twigs are performing at Black Cat on September 28th following the May release of their latest album Everything Harmony. Brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario began making music together as The Lemon Twigs as teenagers, and since starting their musical journey together they have tapped into a new sound. Everything Harmony is a collection of 13 emotionally raw and vulnerable ballads that couple the duo’s panache for melodic rock with a hauntingly dreamy, folksy sound. The Guardian gave Everything Harmony a raving five-star review, stating “rarely has stark despair sounded so lovely.” The aptly-named single Every Day Is The Worst Day Of My Life reflects beautiful dejection, while the album’s hit Corner Of My Eye conversely explores finding love amidst solitude.
